Shemar Franklin Moore (born April 20, 1970) is an American actor and former fashion model. He is best known for his role as Derek Morgan on the CBS television series "Criminal Minds" from 2005 to 2016. Moore has also appeared in other television series, including "The Young and the Restless" and "S.W.A.T." He has won multiple NAACP Image Awards for his performances.
